working student Software Quality Assurance / Testing (gn)

We are a female health startup based in Hamburg. Our team is the key to our success. Together, we pursue the mission of improving women's health through smart and innovative products. Our debut product is the Ovy app with compatible Bluetooth hardware to calculate fertile days in a woman's cycle. We help women and couples find natural, hormone-free, and data-driven contraception or help them fulfill their desire to have children.
We are looking for a working student for the area of Quality Assurance (QA) in app development, starting immediately.
Your tasks include:
- You will work closely with our developers, product management, and customer care team to ensure the quality of our apps.
- You will perform manual functional tests of our Ovy apps on all platforms.
- You create and maintain test plans on our Test Management Platform.
- You identify, categorize, and report errors during the execution of test plans.
- You try to reproduce errors, clarify them, and provide all relevant information for their solution.
- You create and maintain the test documentation.
You should possess the following skillset:
- You are enrolled in a degree program focused on computer science / business informatics / information technology / software development or similar.
- You have a basic understanding of QA and are enthusiastic about testing and uncovering software bugs.
- You have already had some experience with JIRA.
- You have analytical and conceptual skills for understanding and implementing complex tasks.
- You work carefully and in a structured manner, are self-organized and think outside the box.
- You are communicative, enjoy working in a team, and are eager to expand your practical knowledge.
- You have very good knowledge of German and English.
