Description
✓ The Ovy Ovulation Test Strip is used to detect the ovulation hormone LH (luteinizing hormone) in urine. The test will report a positive result starting at an LH level of 25 mlU/ml.
✓ The LH value is measured with an accuracy of 99.9%. The result can be read after 10 minutes.
✓ Use the Ovy app to calculate the fertile days in the cycle: Start using the Ovy ovulation tests on the first day of the fertile phase, which is marked green in the Ovy app in “Get pregnant” mode.
✓ Use the Ovy Ovulation Test Strip at the same time each day during the six most fertile days in the cycle. Do not test your first urine of the day. Ideally, you should use the test between 10 am and 8 pm.
✓ Test results can be recorded in the Ovy app using the photo function. Note: In “Get pregnant” mode, a positive test result is included in the calculation of the cycle.

The Ovy ovulation test is sensitive, hygienic and ideal for regular use at home.
1. Collect a urine sample during the fertile days.
You can observe your body in a targeted way – the Ovy ovulation test works particularly well around the middle of the cycle.
Important: Collect the sample in a clean container, ideally at the same time of day.
2. Immerse the test strip up to the mark.
Dip the strip only up to the marked line – no deeper, so as not to distort the result.
After a few seconds, remove the test strip and lay it horizontally.
3. Read the result after 10 minutes.
The test takes 10 minutes to develop completely.
A later review can lead to misunderstandings – please do not re-evaluate in that case.
4. Document the test result in the Ovy app.
Documenting your cycle will help you to be more aware of it.
If you wish, you can save the test history directly in the Ovy app.

Can I also use the Ovy app to get pregnant?
Yes. When you start using the Ovy app, you'll be asked what your goal is. Here you can choose between contraception and getting pregnant. You can change this selection later in the settings.
In "Trying to Conceive" mode, the Ovy app predicts your six most fertile days and the day of ovulation. It also calculates the start of your next period and indicates when you can take a pregnancy test.
If you become pregnant using the Ovy app, you can switch to pregnancy mode to track your pregnancy.
Is the Ovy Bluetooth thermometer compatible with Android smartphones?
On some Android devices, background temperature data transmission is limited. A list of affected Android devices can be found in our Terms and Conditions .
Do I need prior knowledge to use the Ovy app correctly?
The app offers you various background information on the method. In addition, a tutorial on how to use it is shown before you start.
To use the symptothermal method, you need a basal thermometer to measure your waking temperature (e.g., the Ovy thermometer) and a medium for documentation (e.g., the Ovy app).
